It has finally gotten hot here in Utah and I am dreaming of escaping to the beach. Unfortunately that trip isn't planned until August but in the meantime, Anna has come up with an absolutely adorable new kit for all of you lucky enough to have beachy pictures to scrap (or even just poolside pics!) This a layout I did of my niece (isn't she cute) from our family vacation to Florida last year.

After two inches of snow fell this weekend, I was beginning to despair that spring would ever truly arrive but now it appears that it has and as an additional wonderful gift, we have a new kit from Anna! She'll be officially releasing it on Friday but here's a little sneaky peek for you:

I love the warm, springy colors and couldn't resist the opportunity to show off my new nephew :).

I love March because it marks the beginning of spring. Even though here in the Austrian Alps it's not really spring yet, the snow hasn't even melted, but last week I saw the first snowdrops of the year, and it definitely smells like spring now!

For years before I met my husband, this day was an excuse to get together with all my single girlfriends, eat chocolate, watch chick movies and talk about how dumb boys were. Now my DH and I always make sure do something fun, like go to a community theater show and an early dinner utilizing coupons I've carefully clipped from different sources.

Mine is getting to spend the week after Christmas with my Czech grandparents, getting served hot chocolate and rye bread with marmalade in bed while propped up on massive down pillows in the mornings, cozying up to their wood stove with a book before lunch, cross-country skiing with my grandfather after lunch and learning how to crochet from my grandmother in the evenings while we watched old movies together.
